Feel the Love in February at These Special Valentine’s Events

Valentine’s Day is Wednesday, Feb. 14 and Rockville’s community centers are feeling the love with several events for you and your family to take part in, and, of course, lots of chocolate.

Annual Heart-to-Heart Family Valentine’s Dance: 7-9 p.m. Friday, Feb. 9. Twinbrook Community Recreation Center, 12920 Twinbrook Parkway.

Enjoy a red-hot night! Families and friends spend time together making Valentine crafts and dancing as a DJ spins favorites. Refreshments sold by Twinbrook Elementary School PTA. $4 per person at the door.

Valentine’s Day Chocolate Extravaganza, 6-9:30 p.m. Friday, Feb. 9Thomas Farm Community Center, 700 Fallsgrove Drive.

The everything-chocolate family event. Make a valentine, enjoy the chocolate bar, play chocolate bingo, make a card. See Disney’s magic movie of Belle and the Beast on the big screen from 7:30-9 p.m. Ages 2 and older. Register with course #3613 or pay at the door: $4R/$5NR.

Little Hearts Valentines, 1-3 p.m. Sunday, Feb. 11. Lincoln Park Community Center, 357 Frederick Ave.

A fun-filled Valentine’s event: make cards, read a book, decorate cookies and more. A small snack will be provided. Adult assistance required. Ages 2-6. Register with course #3681. $10R/$13NR.

Tiny Tot Valentine’s Day Party, 10-11:30 a.m. Tuesday, Feb. 13. Thomas Farm Community Center, 700 Fallsgrove Drive.

Enjoy a morning of Valentine’s Day fun. Make a valentine, play games and visit with friends. Wear red to celebrate the day! Register with course #2761, $3R/$4NR.
