Journey from ‘Spamalot’ to ‘Almost, Maine’ at the F. Scott Theater

“On second thought, let’s not go to Camelot. It is a silly place.”

Immortal words from the iconic movie, “The Holy Grail,” will be heard in Rockville in July with Rockville Musical Theatre’s production of “Monty Python’s Spamalot,” coming soon to the F. Scott Fitzgerald Theatre.

Performances will be at 8 p.m., July 7, 8, 14, 15, 21 and 22; and at 2 p.m., July 16 and 23. Tickets cost $22, $20 for students and seniors 62 and older.

Rockville Little Theatre presents “Almost, Maine,” a mythical New England town where love is in the winter air, coming and going in strange, unexpected and hilarious ways. Performances are at 8 p.m., Sept. 22, 23, 29 and 30, with a 2 p.m. matinee Sept. 24 and Oct. 1. Tickets are $22, $20 for students and seniors 62 and older.

The F. Scott Fitzgerald Theatre box office will be closed during construction July 24-Aug. 7 to install new house bar lights and reinforce the roof beam, and will resume normal hours on Aug. 8. Tickets for upcoming performances can always be purchased online at www.rockvillemd.gov/theatre.
