Mayor and Council Return for Post-Recess Meeting

The Mayor and Council are back after their summer recess. Their first meeting is 7 p.m., Monday, Sept. 12 at City Hall, 111 Maryland Ave.

Topics up for discussion include: Recognition for Ruth Hanessian, founder and owner of Animal Exchange; Rockville Chamber of Commerce‘s quarterly report; approval of the 2016 City of Rockville community survey; and the status of the Veirs Mill Road Bus Rapid Transit corridor study.

Mayor Bridget Donnell Newton and Councilmember Virginia Onley will hold drop-in hours beginning at 5:15 p.m. before the meeting, at City Hall.
