Save the Date: Rocktobierfest is Oct. 7

The city’s Rocktobierfest celebration will be held from noon-6 p.m. on Saturday, Oct. 7 in Rockville Town Center.

The free festival, which will coincide with the visit of a delegation from Pinneberg, Germany to mark 60 years as Rockville’s sister city, will feature local breweries and two stages of music, including the Rockville German Band, the German polka of Mike Surratt and The Continentals, and eclectic cover tunes by Vinyl Rhino.

The city is seeking vendors, especially of German-themed food and crafts. The festival is within walking distance of the Rockville Metro station.
