55th Annual Exhibition Gears Up for Free, Family-Friendly Fun

Classic car fans, families and folks looking for a fun day out can get a close-up look at iconic cars that changed the automotive industry when Rockville’s 55th annual Antique and Classic Car Show rolls into Rockville Civic Center Park from 11 a.m.-3:30 p.m. on Saturday, Oct. 15.

The free show – one of the oldest and the largest in the mid-Atlantic region – will feature more than 550 vehicles, a car-related flea market, a car sales area and a performance by the Dixie Power Trio. There will be a moon bounce at the rear of the park in the parking lot of Croydon Creek Nature Center, which will be open to visitors.

The hills of Rockville Civic Center Park, home to the historic Glenview Mansion at 603 Edmonston Drive, offer a picturesque fall setting for a stroll through a lineup of vehicles from 33 car clubs, from Packard to Plymouth to Ferrari.
