Apply Now for Project Funding That Benefits Low- and Moderate-Income Households

The City of Rockville is now accepting online applications for an anticipated $263,000 in federal Community Development Block Grant funding for the fall of Fiscal Year 2024.

The Department of Housing and Community Development will host two technical assistance sessions, 2-3 p.m. Wednesday, July 13 and 11 a.m.-noon, Tuesday, Aug. 30, to walk potential applicants through the process and answer questions.

The CDBG program is a federal grant for housing and community development projects that benefit low- and moderate-income individuals, and provides grants to housing providers for housing and community development projects that benefit low- and moderate-income households or neighborhoods.  

Fiscal Year 2024 grants will fund projects from July 1, 2023-June 30, 2024. Online application must be received by 5 p.m. Friday, Sept. 30.
