The August 1964 issue of the “City of Rockville Newsletter.”

From the August 1964 “City of Rockville Newsletter,” we learned that Miss Maryland, Donna Marie McCauley  a Rockville resident of First Street – was given the key to the city by Mayor Frank A. Ecker. McCauley was set to compete in the Miss America contest to be held in Atlantic City, New Jersey. The key was “a key emblem with the City Seal,” the newsletter stated.
