City Hall to Close for Memorial Day

Recycling and Trash Collected One Day Later During the Holiday Week

Rockville City Hall and some city facilities will be closed Monday, May 27 for Memorial Day.

Recycling, trash and yard waste collection will be made one day later throughout the holiday week. Find more information at www.rockvillemd.gov/recycling-trash.

The following Rockville facilities will be closed May 27:

  • Croydon Creek Nature Center.
  • F. Scott Fitzgerald Theatre and box office. Tickets are always available at www.rockvillemd.gov/theatre.
  • Glenview Mansion.
  • Lincoln Park, Thomas Farm and Twinbrook community centers.
  • Rockville Senior Center

The Rockville Swim and Fitness Center’s indoor pool and fitness center will be open 11 a.m.-9 p.m. Outdoor pools open at noon. Due to the city’s Memorial Day parade, access to the center’s parking lot will be restricted until after noon. Visit www.rockvillemd.gov/swimcenter for individual pool schedules, or call 240-314-8750.

Parking will be free at city-owned meters on May 27.
