Rockville’s Youth Commission is looking for young people from our community to partner with city staff and help shape Rockville’s future.

The Youth Commission, comprised of 16- to 21-year-olds who live or attend high school or Montgomery College in the city, will develop recommendations for the Mayor and Council about programs, policies and legislation to promote the health and well-being of young adults by identifying, monitoring and evaluating youth services, programs, and activities offered in Rockville and surrounding areas.

Five members of the 11-member Youth Commission will be appointed for two-year terms and six members for one-year terms.
