June offers the first of several opportunities over the warmer months to create art at Rockville Town Square. Federal Realty Investment Trust and VisArts are partnering with the City of Rockville to offer the free outdoor art labs on Wednesdays to inspire the artist in you.
Try the Wheel. Try your hand June 19 at a pottery wheel and see what working with clay feels like. For participants 8 and older.
Rockville Rocks for Peace. At this all-ages event on June 26, paint river rocks for yourself and one that will be placed in the Peace Garden of Mattie J.T. Stepanek Park.
The workshops will be held 7-8:30 p.m. at the square, at 131 Gibbs St. All activities are free and on a first-come, first-served basis.
