Rockville is offering a free four-part financial empowerment series this July as part of the BankOn Rockville program to help residents strengthen their money management skills and prepare for future financial goals.
BankOn is an initiative that connects low- to moderate-income residents to safe and affordable bank accounts, increases their financial capability, and provides more pathways to economic self-sufficiency.
Each workshop will be held virtually from 5-6:30 p.m.
Topics include:
- Tuesday, July 8: Banking.
- Thursday, July 10: Budgeting Basics and Understanding Credit.
- Tuesday, July 22: Budgeting During a Crisis.
- Thursday, July 24: Becoming a Homeowner.
