Have a Golden Voice?

Ever been told you have a voice for radio? Have you ever thought it might be fun to try your mellifluous tones at voiceover work?

Rockville has a session that can get you started: “Getting Paid to Talk.” Take the course to explore the numerous aspects of voiceover work for television, film, radio, books on tape, documentaries and the Internet. Learn how to prepare the all-important demo and record a commercial script under direction from a producer. Learn what the pros look for, how to prepare and where to find work in your area.

“Getting Paid to Talk” will be held 6:30-9 p.m. in the Senior Center’s Azalea Room. Register at rockenroll.rockvillemd.gov by entering course #57105. The cost is $25 for residents, $35 for nonresidents.
