Lantern Festival to Light Up Theater

Rockville’s Lantern Festival will be held at the F. Scott Fitzgerald Theatre, starting at 6 p.m. Friday, Feb. 11.

The event will feature live onstage cultural performances and will include cultural cuisine and displays.

This family- and kid-friendly event is organized by the Rockville Sister Cities Corporation in partnership with WQER-LP 96.7 FM Radio and the Chinese Culture Institute.

Concessions open at 6 p.m. The live performance begins at 7 p.m. The festival is free and open to the public. Face coverings are mandatory for all visitors to Rockville facilities, as the city continues its efforts to contain the spread of COVID-19. The requirement applies to all staff and visitors aged 2 and older, whatever their vaccination status. Social distancing will be in place.
