Lead the Charge: Join the Rooftop Solar and Electric Vehicle Co-ops

Thinking of purchasing rooftop solar or an electric vehicle but not sure where to start?

Two community co-ops are now open to help community members navigate the process and join together to increase buying power.

Join the Capital Area Solar Co-op to lower your energy costs, become energy independent and participate in the renewable revolution. The co-op will run until Tuesday, Aug. 30 and includes virtual info sessions and in-person events to help answer all your solar questions. Learn more at bit.ly/CapSolarCo-op22.

If you’re ready to “Lead the EV Charge,” join the Montgomery County EV Purchasing Cooperative today.

Visit www.montgomerycountymd.gov/green/zev to learn about the co-op and pledge to make your next vehicle an electric vehicle.

By signing the online pledge, you’ll commit to making your next car an electric vehicle — and you could inspire your neighbors to do the same. You’ll also be supporting the city’s goal of reducing greenhouse gas emissions from the community and municipal government operations by 50% below 2005 levels by 2030, to reach net zero by 2050.
