May and June in Rockville

Rockville City Hall and some city facilities will be closed Monday, May 30 for Memorial Day and Monday, June 20 as the city observes Juneteenth.

Recycling, trash and yard waste collection will be made one day later throughout the week of May 30. Collections will occur on regularly scheduled days during the week of June 20. The following Rockville facilities will be closed May 30 and June 20: Rockville Senior Center; Lincoln Park, Thomas Farm and Twinbrook community centers; Croydon Creek Nature Center and the F. Scott Fitzgerald Theatre and box office, which are closed Mondays; Glenview Mansion and the Rockville Civic Center business office.

The Rockville Swim and Fitness Center’s indoor pool and fitness center will be open 11 a.m.-9 p.m. May 30 and open for regular hours June 20. Due to the city’s Memorial Day parade, access to the center’s parking lot will be restricted until after noon.
