Resources for Businesses During the COVID-19 Shutdown

Federal, state and local resources are available to help businesses during the COVID-19 emergency. Rockville Economic Development, Inc., has compiled a list of such resources and more information for businesses at rockvilleredi.org/covid-19-resources.

The webpage includes a link to a state portal with information about business tax questions, guidelines for employers, fair labor standards, insurance claims, opportunities for financial assistance, and statewide closures; and information from the Small Business Administration about disaster assistance.

The Maryland Women’s Business Center, an initiative of REDI, is open and remains committed to helping Maryland’s businesses stay operational during this uncertain time. MWBC is:

  • Offering virtual business counseling via telephone and email.
  • Connecting with federal, state and local agencies to stay up to date on available assistance.
  • Converting key workshops to online training at marylandwbc.org/events.
  • Providing refunds to registered workshop participants who are unable to participate due to illness.
