Rockville Installs Rack to Help With Bike Repairs While on the Millennium Trail

Your bike needs a minor adjustment while you’re out on a ride, but you don’t have the tools for a tune up.

What do you do? For riders on the Carl Henn Millennium Trail near the Thomas Farm Community Center, the city has you covered. Rockville recently installed a bicycle repair rack at mile marker 0 on the trail, right behind the community center. The repair rack, which is free to use and has tools attached for minor repairs, is not designed for locking up bicycles, but instead is intended to help keep bicycles in working order for safe transportation and recreation. Cyclists can use the tools to complete quick fixes and maintenance, such as tightening handlebars, adjusting seat posts or removing tires. To offer questions or comments about the rack, or if you would like one near you, email [email protected].
