Rockville Public Safety Awards to Honor the City’s First Responders

Members of the Rockville City Police Department, Rockville Volunteer Fire Department, Montgomery County Sheriff’s Department and Montgomery County Department of Correction and Rehabilitation will be honored for their service to the community at the Rockville Public Safety Awards on Wednesday, June 13 at Lakewood Country Club, 13901 Glen Mill Road. Networking begins at 11:30 a.m. The luncheon begins at noon.

Tickets are $35 per person before May 28. After May 28, tickets are $40 per person. For more information, or to register, visit www.rockvillechamber.org/events.

In a move to protect renters, the Mayor and Council adopted 2.6% as the Voluntary Rent Guideline for 2024. The voluntary rent guideline became effective in March. The guideline encourages landlords to hold rent increases to the lowest level possible.
