Rockville Town Center Parking Lot Closed in Preparation for Construction

The surface parking lot at 198-199 E. Middle Lane, across Helen Heneghan Way from the Cambria Hotel, in Rockville Town Center, has closed. The lot frequently served customers to Regal Row, including Regal Cinemas Rockville 13 and the businesses along East Montgomery Avenue.

Construction fencing will be erected later this week. Construction is expected to begin in a few weeks on a 400-unit multi-family project with approximately 20,000 square feet of retail. To learn more about the project, visit www.rockvillemd.gov/1318/198-East-Montgomery-Avenue.

The developer, Duball, LLC, is exploring alternative parking options, adding parking staff to direct motorists to parking in the neighborhood and working with Rockville Economic Development Inc. on signage.
