Victorian Lyric Opera Company presents “The New Moon”
8 p.m. Fridays and Saturdays, and 2 p.m. Sundays from Feb. 24-March 5.

Revolution, romance, mutiny and betrayal are woven throughout this classic 1928 operetta, set in 18th-century New Orleans. Robert, a French aristocrat and revolutionary flees France and settles in New Orleans by selling himself into servitude to a wealthy landowner. He falls in love with the owner’s beautiful daughter, Marianne, but due to his circumstances cannot tell her who he really is. Hunted by a French detective, Robert is eventually captured and put aboard a ship, The New Moon, to be returned to France. Things take a turn when a mutiny occurs onboard and the ship’s entire party, including Robert and Marianne, are made to start life anew on a remote island.

Rockville Little Theatre presents “Pride@ Prejudice”
8 p.m. Friday, Feb. 3 and Saturday, Feb. 4; 2 p.m. Sunday, Feb. 5.
This adaptation of Jane Austen’s classic romance features five actors playing more than 30 roles, adding voices including bloggers, commentators, scholars, even Jane Austen herself, to the beloved Austen characters.

Tickets are $22; $20 for students and seniors.

Rockville Concert Band presents “A Night at the Theater”
3 p.m. Sunday, Feb. 12.
Featuring music from movies and Broadway musicals, conducted by music director Juan Gallastegui, with guest conductor Robert Tennyson.

Glenview Mansion Art Gallery to exhibit the Washington Water Color Association
Meet the artists at a free event from 1:30-3:30 p.m. Sunday, Feb. 26.

Rockville Civic Ballet presents “Lancelot”

One kingdom’s tale of knights, adventure and love, directed by Eleanor Simpson and Erin Kwong.
