Follow These Tips for a Safe Summer Season
On Vacation:
- Don’t advertise vacation plans.
- Have a trusted neighbor, friend or relative check on your home while you are away.
- Stop mail and newspaper deliveries.
- Set timers on lights in rooms that are normally used.
In Your Neighborhood:
- Always lock bicycles to a stationary object. A hardened, steel, u-shaped lock is preferable.
- When working in the yard, make sure front, rear and garage doors are locked.
