Follow These Tips for a Safe Summer Season

On Vacation:

  • Don’t advertise vacation plans.
  • Have a trusted neighbor, friend or relative check on your home while you are away.
  • Stop mail and newspaper deliveries.
  • Set timers on lights in rooms that are normally used.

In Your Neighborhood:

  • Always lock bicycles to a stationary object. A hardened, steel, u-shaped lock is preferable.
  • When working in the yard, make sure front, rear and garage doors are locked.
