Ban Would Prohibit Use in Food Service and Shipping The Mayor and Council are scheduled to vote Monday, Dec. 11 on a proposed ban in the City of Rockville on the use of polystyrene in food plates, trays, containers or in loose fill for shipping packages.
City Hall and all city facilities will be closed Monday, Dec. 25 for Christmas Day and Monday, Jan. 1 for New Year’s Day.
