Rockville’s 46th Annual Martin Luther King Jr. Day Celebration will be held at 11 a.m. on Monday, Jan. 15 at Richard Montgomery High School, 250 Richard Montgomery Drive. Recycling and Refuse Collected a Day Later During Holiday Weeks City Hall and all city facilities will be closed for New Year’s Day on Monday, Jan. 1. City Hall and some facilities will also be closed for Martin Luther King Jr. Day on Monday, Jan. 15.
May is Preservation Month, and in recognition, the Historic District Commission will host “ABCs of Historic Preservation” at 7 p.m. Thursday, May 30. The hybrid event will provide members of the community with an overview of historic preservation in Rockville.
