First Phase of New Online Permitting System to Go Live in October

MyGovernmentOnline, the first phase of a new permitting and planning platform, will go online Monday, Oct. 25.

The new permit application process will be more convenient, and applicants will be able to track and manage all applications online. Permits will be searchable and permit reports viewable.

The system will provide a fully integrated online application, payment, plan submittal and review, and inspection service.

MGO will replace the current online application portal, application forms and email application process.

The first phase will include all permits related to building, fire protection and trades, and associated trade licenses. Future phases will include development projects, additional licenses, public works permits and more.
