Nominate a Neighbor for a Human Rights Award

The City of Rockville’s Human Rights Commission will present two awards as part of the city’s annual Martin Luther King Jr. Day celebration on Monday, Jan. 16.

The Martin Luther King Jr. Youth Award honors a Rockville high school student for advancing the goals and dreams of Dr. King.

The F. Michael Taff Award honors an individual, business or organization from Rockville for improving the lives of people with disabilities.

The deadline for nominations has been extended until 5 p.m. on Wednesday, Dec. 14. Find nomination forms and more information at www.rockvillemd.gov/mlk.
