Glenview and Peerless Present the History of Rockville’s Sister Cities

Rockville’s sister cities are the focus of a Glenview Mansion and Peerless Rockville Speaker Series program at 7 p.m. Thursday, Jan. 13.

The nonprofit Sister Cities International was founded in 1956 by President Dwight D. Eisenhower. Learn about the sister cities initiative; Rockville’s 64-year sister city relationship with Pinneberg, Germany; the development of the newest sister city relationship, with Yilan City, Taiwan; and other fascinating Rockville sister cities history.
