Rockville’s Mayor and Council will in August once again proclaim September as National Recovery Month, and the city will hold several events as part of Rockville Goes Purple, a continuing campaign to shine a spotlight on the nationwide impact of opioid addiction.
The Mayor and Council will issue the proclamation Monday, Aug. 1 at their final meeting before summer recess.
Several events are being planned to mark National Recovery Month.
