Rockville Public Safety Awards to Honor City’s First Responders

Members of the Rockville City Police Department, Rockville Volunteer Fire Department, Montgomery County Sheriff’s Office and Montgomery County Department of Correction and Rehabilitation will be honored for their service to the community at the 34th Annual Rockville Public Safety Awards on Wednesday, June 14 at Lakewood Country Club, 13901 Glen Mill Road. Networking begins at 11:30 a.m. The luncheon begins at noon.

Tickets are $40 per person. Tables of 10, sponsorship opportunities and program advertisements are available.

The Greater Rockville Chamber of Commerce is seeking 100 sponsor donations of $100 to raise $10,000 for the nonprofit First Responders Children’s Foundation, which provides financial support to children who have lost a parent in the line of duty and families enduring significant financial hardship due to tragedy.
