Be In-the-Know About New Development

Notice a new building going up? Stay informed about what’s being built around
town. The Department of Community Planning and Development Services provides regular updates on major development applications, including links to application
materials and project locations. Find the applications and a map of development
projects, and sign up to be notified when the map is updated, at www.rockvillemd.gov/developmentwatch.

The Rockville City Police Department is committed to building trust between neighbors and law enforcement through community policing. Explore Rockville by Bicycle

Bicycling offers a fun, healthy and efficient way to explore Rockville’s neighborhoods. The city is creating a safe, well-connected network for bicycling and has more than 34 miles of shared-use paths, 4 miles of bike lanes and 3 miles of roads with sharrows. The city’s efforts to encourage bicycling earned it a Bicycle Friendly Community bronze-level designation from the League of American Bicyclists. Learn more at www.rockvillemd.gov/bicycling.
