Dogwood Stream Restored

Construction of the Dogwood Stream Restoration Project in the north end of Dogwood Park, between Monroe Street and Cabin John Parkway, was completed in January.

Planting of approximately 200 trees and over 300 shrubs is scheduled for this spring. The project included restoring 1,400 linear feet of stream to prevent erosion adjacent to private property in the Waddington Park community. It also stabilized two storm drain outfalls and protected sanitary sewer infrastructure.
