Rockville’s Mayor and Council and members of the Montgomery County Board of Education toured in April a new addition to Julius West Middle School that includes new athletic fields, classrooms, faculty rooms, a gym, a café and recreation areas, and safer vehicle and pedestrian access. The Mayor and Council partnered with MCPS to advocate for funding of the addition. The upgrade and expansion should accommodate projected enrollment for the next 20 years.
