The Tamburitzans, of Pittsburgh, celebrate their 81st season with “Passages — The Journey of our Ancestors,” about world culture brought to America through immigration. 7:30 p.m. Saturday, Feb. 10. “The Merry Widow,” presented by the Victorian Lyric Opera Company, tells the story of Hanna Glawari, a famous, wealthy widow from a fictional eastern European country whose ambassador attempts to find her a new husband and keep her fortune in the country, saving it from bankruptcy.
8 p.m. Feb. 23 and 24, and March 2 and 3; 2 p.m. Feb. 25 and March 4. On Friday, Feb. 23, the opening night special ticket price is $14. Pre-show backstage tour and post-show Q-and-A on Feb. 25. Tickets for adults are $28; $24 for seniors (65 and older); and $20 for students.
