At the Gallery: Juried Exhibits in May/June to Glass and Abstracts in June/July

The Glenview Mansion Art Gallery will host the Rockville Art League Juried Members’ Exhibition from May 6-June 15.

Meet the artists at a gallery opening reception, 1:30-3:30 p.m. Sunday, May 6. The opening reception’s Sunday afternoon concert at 2 p.m. in the Glenview Mansion Conservatory will be performed by the Rockville Singers, singing show tunes, American standards and more.

From June 24-July 27, see abstract paintings by b. gallery and Force of 5, and glass by Tamah Graber, with an opening reception from 1:30-3:30 p.m. Sunday, June 24.

Guy Robert Jean will perform for the Sunday Concert Series, in the conservatory, at the June 24 opening reception, singing romantic ballads in French, Spanish, English and Creole. His concert begins at 2 p.m.

The Glenview Mansion will be closed July 28 to February 2019 for the construction of a new ADA-compliant parking lot.

The Glenview Mansion Art Gallery is free and ADA accessible, and open 9 a.m.- 4:30 p.m. Monday, Tuesday, Wednesday and Friday, and 9 a.m.-9 p.m. Thursday. The gallery is located on the second floor of the mansion, at 603 Edmonston Drive.
