Twenty government and private sector representatives from Singapore visited Rockville City Hall Tuesday, part of a weeklong trip to learn about different levels of the U.S. political system, local government and intergovernmental relations.

The group was made up of 18 graduate students and a professor from the National University of Singapore Lee Kuan Yew School of Public Policy. Two-thirds of the group are Chinese students studying at the university in Singapore, which is considered a model government in Asia.
