Movies in the Parks: Four Movies. Four Weeks. Four Neighborhood Parks

Mark your summer entertainment calendar for Rockville’s free outdoor Movies in the Parks, on the big screen at neighborhood parks throughout the city on Wednesdays in August.

Bring chairs, blankets, food and beverages and enjoy four family-friendly movies at four different neighborhood parks. Movies begin at dusk (approximately 8 p.m.) and are free. Last year, more than 300 people attended each week.

The 2019 schedule is

  • “Smallfoot” (PG) on Aug. 7, at Calvin Park, 1248 Gladstone Drive.
  • “The Mighty Ducks” (PG) on Aug. 14, at Woodley Gardens Park, 900 Nelson St.
  • “The Little Mermaid” (G) on Aug. 21, at Maryvale Park, 812 First St.
  • “Sherlock Gnomes” (PG) on Aug. 28, at Potomac Woods Park, 1380 Stratton Drive.
