MLK Jr. Day Celebration to Feature Performances, Community Service

Rockville’s 48th annual Martin Luther King Jr. Day celebration, from 11 a.m.-1 p.m. Monday, Jan. 20 at Richard Montgomery High School, 250 Richard Montgomery Drive, will include diverse performances, awards and a keynote speech focused on the theme of “Light in the Midst of Darkness.”

The celebration is free and open to all ages. There will be community service activities beginning at 11 a.m., along with information booths and free refreshments before the program. The program will begin at noon in the auditorium.

Volunteers Needed
