The City of Rockville will begin posting messages in September on Nextdoor, a social network for neighborhoods nationwide.

Community members are encouraged to join Nextdoor at http://nextdoor.com in order to post or read information from neighbors that is specific to their neighborhood and other neighborhoods close by.

The City of Rockville and the Rockville City Police Department will use the service to post critical information for community members that is targeted to the neighborhoods where they live.
