A-RTS Festival Returns to
Town Square This Month

The Fifth Annual A-RTS at Rockville Town Square Arts Festival returns May 6-7 for two days of art, food and live music.

The free festival will transform the streets surrounding Town Square Plaza into an outdoor art gallery, featuring more than 160 nationally recognized artists from across the country working in ceramics, drawing, fiber, glass, graphics, jewelry, metalwork, painting, photography, printmaking, sculpture, wood and mixed media.

The festival will be held rain or shine from 11 a.m.-6 p.m. on Saturday, May 6 and from 11 a.m.-5 p.m. on Sunday, May 7.

Live music will take to the Dawson’s Market Stage at noon each day.  Artisanal food vendors will line Gibbs Street, behind the stage, with offerings that include gourmet chocolates, oil and vinegar, and wine-infused sauces.

Parking will be available in Town Square garages.

For more information, including a list of artists, performers and food vendors, visit http://a-rts.org or find the festival on Facebook at www.facebook.com/RockvilleArtsFestival.
