Money Talks: Early Opportunity to Speak Out On Budget

As Rockville embarks on its Fiscal Year 2018 budget process, the Mayor and Council are asking community members to share their ideas.

The Mayor and Council will hold a public hearing at 7 p.m. on Tuesday, Nov. 1, at City Hall, 111 Maryland Ave. to begin gathering input for the development of the operating budget and Capital Improvements Program for FY 2018, which begins July 1.

Anyone wishing to testify, including representatives of the city’s boards, commissions and local nonprofits, should call 240-314-8280 before 4 p.m. on the date of the hearing to have their names placed on the speakers’ list.
