Big Splash Ahead: Pool Upgrades and Slide Closer to Completion

Excitement is building at the Rockville Swim and Fitness Center as work progresses on a comprehensive renovation and reconfiguration of the outdoor recreation pool. 

Recent highlights include the installation of new water slides and an aquatic play unit, as well as pool gutters, filter tanks, underground piping and other site utilities. Crews continue to work on the final components of the project to get it ready for a big splash this summer. 

An announcement on the recreation pool’s reopening date is pending. Slide over to rockvillemd.gov/rsfcrenovations to learn more about the project and rockvillemd.gov/swimcenter to stay informed about the center’s programs, hours and fees.
