Calling All Cars: Antique and Classic Car Show Returns in October

57th Annual Show Offers Free, Family-Friendly Fun

Rockville’s 57th annual Antique and Classic Car Show rolls into Rockville Civic Center Park from 11 a.m.-3:30 p.m. on Saturday, Oct. 20.

The free show – one of the oldest and the largest in the mid-Atlantic region – will feature more than 500 vehicles, a car-related flea market, a car sales area and live music. There will be a moon bounce at the rear of the park in the parking lot of Croydon Creek Nature Center, which will be open to visitors.

The hills of Rockville Civic Center Park, home to the historic Glenview Mansion at 603 Edmonston Drive, offer a picturesque fall setting for a stroll through a lineup of vehicles from 33 car clubs, from Packard to Plymouth to Ferrari.

The show is the premier non-judged motor vehicle show in the region, offering the chance to share memories of classic cars of yesteryear. The theme of this year’s show is brass-era cars.

Find coverage of past car shows at www.youtube.com/cityofrockville and follow the Rockville Antique and Classic Car Show on Facebook.

Parking will be available at Rockville Civic Center Park, with overflow parking at Meadow Hall Elementary School, 951 Twinbrook Parkway. A courtesy shuttle will run between the school and the show from 10:30 a.m.-4 p.m. For inclement weather updates, please call 240-314-5022.

Car owners can register their vehicle until 5 p.m. Wednesday, Oct. 17. After that, owners must register on the day of the event. To show or sell a car at the show, host a flea market booth, or learn more, visit www.rockvillemd.gov/carshow, call 240-314-8620 or email [email protected].
