Rockville City Hall will be closed for Veterans Day on Monday, Nov. 11, and on Thanksgiving weekend, and other city facilities will be closed or will operate on limited schedules.
Tuesday, Nov. 5 (Rockville City Election Day): City Hall and all city facilities will be open, and recycling and trash will be collected as usual.
Monday, Nov. 11 (Veterans Day): City Hall, the Senior Center, Glenview Mansion and the theater box office will be closed. Croydon Creek Nature Center is closed on Mondays. All other city facilities will open as usual. Recycling and trash collection will be suspended and will be made one day later through the week, with Thursday collection on Friday. Thursday, Nov. 28 (Thanksgiving Day) and Friday, Nov. 29: City Hall, the Senior Center, Glenview Mansion and the Fitzgerald Theatre box office will be closed. Fitzgerald Theatre tickets are always available at www.rockvillemd.gov/theatre. Recycling and trash normally collected on Thursdays will be collected Friday, Nov. 29. Facilities closed Nov. 28 and open for the following hours Nov. 29: Croydon Creek Nature Center (10 a.m.-2 p.m.); Lincoln Park, Thomas Farm and Twinbrook community centers (10 a.m.-6 p.m.); and the Rockville Swim and Fitness Center (6 a.m.-9 p.m.).
