Facilities to Close for Labor Day

City Hall and the following city facilities will be closed Monday, Sept. 4, in observance of Labor Day:

  • Lincoln Park, Thomas Farm and Twinbrook community centers.
  • Rockville Senior Center.
  • Croydon Creek Nature Center.
  • Glenview Mansion.
  • F. Scott Fitzgerald Theatre.

The Rockville Swim and Fitness Center will be open. For individual swim and fitness center facilities hours, visit www.rockvillemd.gov/swimcenter.

Recycling, yard waste and refuse collection will be suspended on Sept. 4 and made one day later than usual throughout the week, with Thursday collection occurring on Friday, Sept. 8. For more information on holiday collection schedules, visit www. rockvillemd.gov/recyclingrefuse or call 240-314-8568.

Parking fees at city-owned meters will be free. For more information, go to www.rockvillemd.gov or call 240-314-5000.
