D.A.R.E.-ing to Help Kids Resist Drugs and Violence

Rockville City Police Department Cpl. Ronnie Crowe recently graduated from Maryland’s 40th Drug Abuse Resistance Education (D.A.R.E.) officer training program.

The rigorous, two-week course involves daily classroom instruction and many hours outside the classroom working on projects and presentations. Crowe, center with (L to R) Sgt. Javier Baquero and Acting Maj. Jason West, also had the opportunity to teach a session of D.A.R.E. to elementary school students.
