Decluttering 101
A virtual eight-week course on effective ways to declutter with instructor Carrie Noel-Nosbaum, the owner of Carrie It Away. The course builds a support network for participants to reach their goals.

Home Safety and Fall Prevention
Falling is not part of normal aging. Dr. Carlos Martinez of CAM Physical Therapy will discuss safety tips to prevent falls at home.

Ask the Aces

Understanding Social Isolation Series
This free seasonal series, in collaboration with the Senior Citizens Commission, provides education and builds tools to help improve seniors’ quality of life.

Better Breather’s Club
Educational programs for respiratory issues. A pharmacist will discuss medication and answer questions.

Intergenerational Fall Festival
Harvest the happiness of fall with games, music, crafts, educational fun, food (for purchase) and refreshments. COVID-19 vaccines and flu shots will be available. Bring your insurance card.

Flu Shot Clinic
Be prepared for flu season with a flu shot, from 10 a.m.-1 p.m. Tuesday, Sept. 26 at the Rockville Senior Center, provided by Giant pharmacists. Bring your insurance card.

Hispanic Annual Festival
Lunch and entertainment. The cost is $15 for senior center members and $22 for nonmembers. Register with course #26647. 11 a.m.-1 p.m. Tuesday, Sept. 26.

The Opioid and Drug Crisis
