Did You Get Your Stimulus Check?

About 147,000 Marylanders who qualify for a stimulus payment may not have received the money because they fall into the threshold of individuals and families who have little to no income.

Individuals with income less than $12,200 per year and married couples with an income of $24,400 per year do not need to file an income tax return. Thus, the IRS does not have a mailing address or a bank account to send these individuals and families the payments they are owed.

Those individuals and families need to take action to receive their stimulus payments. To get started, go to the IRS’ Non-Filers: Enter Payment Info Here site.

The IRS form must be completed by Thursday, Oct.15, to receive stimulus funds.

For more information about the stimulus program, including examples of people who need to complete the non-filers form with the IRS, visit https://www.irs.gov/newsroom/non-filers-enter-payment-info-here-tool-scenarios.
