Election Day and Mail-in Ballot Deadline is Nov. 3

The presidential general election will take place Tuesday, Nov. 3, with early voting centers and all polling locations open.

You may still register to vote. Register in person at an early voting center through Monday, Nov. 2, or at a polling location on Nov. 3. Poll hours are 7 a.m.-8 p.m.

Vote early, now through Nov. 2, at any of the 11 locations throughout Montgomery County, regardless of where you live. Find them at www.montgomerycountymd.gov/Elections/EarlyVoting/index.html.

Returning a mail-in ballot? Be sure to sign the affidavit printed on the envelope that holds your ballot. Do not sign the ballot. Questions? Call the 24-hour voter hotline at 240-777-VOTE.

Ballots must be postmarked on or before Election Day, Nov. 3. Mail early or plan to put your mail-in ballot in a voting drop box. A secure ballot drop box is open now through 8 p.m. Nov. 3, at Rockville City Hall, 111 Maryland Ave. (Note that City Hall will not be operating as a voting center.) Voters with disabilities can learn how to access online information from the Maryland State Board of Elections at elections.maryland.gov/accessibility.html. Seniors who need assistance with an absentee ballot or need a ride to the polls should contact the Rockville Senior Center at 240-314-8800.
