Explore Rockville by Bike, With Friends

Tuesday evening bike rides are back.

The Rockville Bicycle Advisory Committee leads casual neighborhood rides of about one hour on Tuesdays throughout the summer. Routes are on paved, shared-use paths, some sidewalks and some short sections of quiet streets. The group rides at the pace of the slowest rider, so no one gets left behind. Rain at the start cancels the ride; wet pavement does not.

Rides meet at 6:30 p.m. on the following Tuesdays:

  • July 6, 13, 20 and 27: Meet in the parking lot at Westat, 1450 Research Blvd.
  • Aug. 3, 10, 17, 24 and 31: Meet at in the parking lot at Rockville Civic Center Park, 603 Edmonston Drive.
