First Meeting Planned for Stonestreet Corridor Study

A kickoff meeting for the Stonestreet corridor is scheduled for 7 p.m., Tuesday, May 2 at Lincoln Park Community Center, 357 Frederick Ave. Attendees can learn about and provide input on the study’s purpose, its timeline and the process, and how to be involved and give feedback over the course of the study.

The study will identify key sites for action, short- and long-term implementation steps, and seek to strengthen relationships through finding consensus and balance with neighborhoods, business owners and tenants in the corridor area. The 150-acre study area roughly covers the east and west sides of North and South Stonestreet avenues, from Westmore Road to the north to where South Stonestreet Avenue ends to the south.
