Free, Family-Friendly ‘Movies in the Parks’ Return in August

Series Presents Four Movies on Four Nights in Four Neighborhood Parks

Rockville’s free, outdoor “Movies in the Parks” return to neighborhood parks throughout the city – and to the big screen – on Wednesdays in August.Bring chairs, blankets, food and beverages and enjoy four family-friendly movies at four different neighborhood parks. Movies begin at dusk (approximately 8 p.m.) and are free.

  • Wednesday, Aug. 3: “Inside Out” (PG), at Montrose Park, 451 Congressional Lane.
  • Wednesday, Aug. 10: “Finding Nemo” (G), on the Glenview Mansion front lawn, at 603 Edmonston Drive.
  • Wednesday, Aug. 17: “The Sandlot” (PG), at Woodley Gardens Park, 900 Nelson St.
  • Wednesday, Aug. 24: “Up” (PG), at Fallsgrove Park, 700 Fallsgrove Drive.
